A Tale of TWO Cities, TWO Historic Venues & ONE Show

Pickin’ a venue for The One Motorcycle Show isn’t just about finding a place to park some bikes—it’s about uncovering a spot that’s got just as much soul as the machines and the people inside. We’re always on the hunt for rare, unconventional spaces—forgotten warehouses, old properties with a little dust, a lotta character, and stories to tell.

From day one, we’ve set out to make this show more than a collection of motorcycles. It’s a celebration of creativity, grit, and the stories that shape moto culture. And the venues? Well, they’re characters in the story too.

It all started back in 2009 when we transformed a raw, rugged warehouse into a showcase for custom builds, art, and community. The goal was simple: create a space that honors the weird, rare, and unconventional bikes that don't always fit into traditional molds. Each year since, the show has grown, but the heartbeat remains the same.

Over the years, we’ve popped up in spots that feel as unique as the show itself. Old factories, forgotten industrial spaces, and properties that most folks might overlook—they’ve all been part of the journey. Every venue we pick adds to the story, amplifying the raw creativity of the builders, artists and community members who join us.

Take Zidell Yards, for example. This industrial giant on Portland’s South Waterfront became our home base in 2020. With its open-air structure and shipbuilding history, it’s the perfect backdrop for the bikes, art, and people that make The One what it is. And then there’s this year’s big twist: our first-ever show in Las Vegas. The Western Hotel & Casino, with its vintage charm and Fremont Street vibe, feels like stepping back in time—right in line with our throwback roots.

The venues we choose aren’t just backdrops; they’re a part of the story. They’re dusty, unconventional, and full of character—just like the bikes and builders who fill them.
